Orange County North Carolina Property Tax Revaluation
Orange County North Carolina Property Tax Revaluation
Every four years, Orange County reappraises all real property in Orange County, including Chapel Hill and Carrboro, and adjusts property values to or close to current market value. 2009 is a revaluation year.
If a homeowner thinks they can not sell their house for as much as the appraised value, it is a very good idea to submit a request for review to the county.
