Bolin Forest
Bolin Forest is located within walking distance of downtown Carrboro. This neighborhood also backs to Bolin Creek, which has 10 miles of hiking and biking trails. This is a nicely wooded neighborhood. This is not a large townhome area. There are a few in the front of the neighborhood and more in the rear.

Glen Ridge at Lake Hogan Farms
Glen Ridge at Lake Hogan Farms is located west of Chapel Hill off Homestead. There are five luxury townhouse styles to choose from ranging in price from $250,000 to $360,000. These townhomes are beautifully finished. Many have third floors that are either finished or are rough plumed so that they can be finished with a full or half bath in the future. The builder is Homescape Building Company, a winner of the Parade of Homes Best of the Best Award. There is a lake in the neighborhood and a nice walking path. There is also a very nice pool, clubhouse, and tennis courts covered by the HOA dues.

Kensington Trace
Kensington Trace is located on the north side of Chapel Hill on the bus line. There are a few different one and two-level floorplans. These condos have a good amount of space for the money. The buildings are being well maintained by the Homeowners Association. There is a pool, clubhouse and tennis courts that is included in the HOA dues. There are washers and dryers on site. Some units, however, have been retrofit and do have washers and dryers.

Meadowmont
Meadowmont is located off Highway 54 and is five minutes to UNC-Chapel Hill and I-40. This neighborhood has been developed to convey a true community setting with a variety of home styles thoughtfully arranged with front porches, neighborhood parks, and sidewalks on both sides of the street. There are multiple resources available to neighbors ranging from Meadowmont Village shops to the UNC Hospitals Wellness Center.
For singles and young families, Meadowmont offers cottage homes ranging from 1,300 to 2,000 square feet. There are over 30 styles to choose from with a price range from $300,000 to the $400,000’s.
Fairway Park lies adjacent to the Chapel Hill Country Club golf course. These homes are between 3,000 and 3,500 square feet with primary living space focused on the first floor and additional guest rooms on the second. Some homes also allow for basements on a lower level. These homes range from $600,000 to the $800,000’s.
Summit Park is a section of very high-end townhouses. Many have been custom built to owner specifications including an elevator and a garage accessible by rear alleys. They have been built exclusively by White Oak Properties, a leader in multifamily projects for the Triangle area. These homes range from $550,000 to over $1,000,000.
Traditional homes provide an ideal setting for the growing family. This section is composed of two-story homes with two-car garages, ranging from 3,000 to 4,000 square feet. Many are available with all brick exteriors and full-sized basements. The prices range from $550,000 to over $1,000,000.
The largest homes of the neighborhood are found on Meadowmont Lane. Set on wooded, private lots, these homes offer the greatest luxuries including full basements, elevators, gourmet kitchens, and all brick exteriors. Prices range from $800,000 to over $1,000,000.
Hilltop Condos are single level 3-bedroom, 2 ½ bath homes with 2,300 square feet. There are formal living and dining rooms, as well as breakfast rooms and covered porches. Garage parking is available below the building. Prices range from $380,000 to the $400,000’s.
The Village Condos are built above the specialty shops in Meadowmont Village. They offer secured access, elevators, and balconies for the 1-2 bedroom units. The homes range from 1,300 to 1,900 square feet with prices from $280,000 to the $370,000’s.
The Cedars is a continuing care retirement community with multiple living arrangements and a full-service clubhouse. There are cottage homes ranging from 1,522 to 2,783 square feet, villas from 981 to 2,442 square feet, and verandas from 1,339 to 2,317 square feet. There is an onsite Health Center with skilled nursing and assisted living.

The Meadowmont Swim Club offers two neighborhood pools, a playground, clubhouse, sand volleyball court, and basketball goal. You may join the club with either an annual or seasonal membership, or just pay daily fees. A membership will get you discounts on special programs offered at the club. The Meadowmont Club does feature a swim team and summer camps for three age ranges.
Rashkis Elementary School is located in the neighborhood. Adjacent to the school is Town Park, a 70-acre park with walking trails and four playing fields for baseball and soccer.
The UNC Hospitals Wellness Center provides excellent exercise, health and nutrition programs. It is a member based fitness center, also offering physical therapy, cardiac rehabilitation, community health education, and other special services.
The Paul J. Rizzo Conference Center provides an executive education center for UNC-Chapel Hill’s Kenan-Flagler Business School. A 24 million dollar facility, it offers the latest technology as well as room for lodging, seminars, and conferences.

Southern Village
Southern Village is located south of town and is five minutes from UNC-Chapel Hill. This neighborhood was established in 1994 and has all the components of what is today called “New Urbanism.” Southern Village is over 300 acres with 550 single-family homes, 375 townhomes and condominiums, 250 apartments, and 350,000 square feet of retail and civic space.
There are one, two, and three bedroom condominiums in buildings with elevators, garages and security entry systems. There are also a number of different townhouse styles ranging from two to four bedrooms, with and without garages and with and without basements.
The neighborhood is lined with sidewalks throughout. The houses, townhouses, and condominiums are built on alleyways. The garages are almost all rear entry and the lot sizes are relatively small. Single-family homes typically have enough yard for a nice porch and small play area. The neighborhood is designed to foster gathering in area parks (Arlen Park, Calderon Park, Market Park, Edgewater Park and more) and in the town center. Front porches are close to the sidewalks to make it easy to greet your neighbors as they stroll by. There is a walking path around the neighborhood as well as an elementary school (Scroggs) and a day care center (Chapel Hill Day Care). On the other side of the neighborhood is a middle school (Culbreth).
Market Street, which is within walking distance to all parts of the neighborhood, has a variety of entertainment, food, and shops. There is a four-screen movie theater (The Lumina).
